Breast Of Luck | Show 01

Breast of Luck is a sharply observed, emotionaly layered dark comedy that tracks the evolving relationship between Arun, a grumpy, emotionaly reserved stockbroker, and Sheila, a spirited classical singer. The two first cross paths as neighbours — adversaries bound by thin wals and conflicting routines. Music for Sheila is noise for Arun. Arun is sleep-deprived and irritable, while Sheila is unapologeticaly devoted to her 5 AM riyaz. Their heated exchanges over intercoms slowly morph into real-world meetings when their paths cross on a dating app. Set against the backdrop of Mumbai’s claustrophobic apartment culture and milennial dating realities, their journey takes an unexpected and sobering turn when Sheila is diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer.
