Priyanka Narula, an award-winning architect and designer, is redefining India’s wicker craft through her studio, The Wicker Story. A graduate of IAAC Barcelona and Government College of Lucknow, she blends traditional craftsmanship with cutting-edge design, creating intricate geometries in cane and rattan.

With a career spanning architecture, interior design, and product innovation, Priyanka has received global recognition, including the Red Dot Design Award (2024) for her Sunset Bench and accolades from Lexus Design Awards and Elle Decor International Design Awards.

Through The Wicker Story, founded in 2019, she pioneers inventive handwoven fabrications, large-scale art installations, and sculptural furniture, all while empowering local artisans.

Priyanka’s commitment to design education has led her to teach at leading institutions, sharing her expertise in digital fabrication and biomimicry. Her work continues to push the boundaries of craft, technology, and sustainable design in India.
