Dinner Service at Chatterjee & Lal
Dinner Service at Chatterjee & Lal
Saturday, July 12 at 8:00 PM
An evening of food, conversation, and shared experience, set among fragments of memory and form.
For one night only, PORT brings its Dinner Service to Chatterjee & Lal. Set within ‘Building the Past: An Architect-Collector’, an exhibition exploring the life and collection of Sohrabji K. Bhedwar. This dinner becomes a continuation of the show, inviting guests to engage with space, structure, and story through the act of shared nourishment.
Guests will gather at a long table placed in the heart of the exhibition. A seasonal set menu unfolds slowly, paired with wine (if you’d like it), and is shaped by our belief that food is a way of seeing. The evening begins with a walkthrough of the show, before settling into a meal that moves gently from plate to plate, thought to thought.
It’s a dinner that forgot it was in a gallery, and a gallery that forgot to close.
This experience is made possible with the thoughtful collaboration of our partners—Built Editions, Ware Innovations, and Ikai Asai—whose contributions help shape our table.
Please note:
This is a vegetarian meal.
The gallery is on the first floor.
There is no elevator access.
There are no additional on-spot passes.
