Margam | Shruti Ranade

Shruti will be presenting a traditional solo Margam recital under the guidance of Acharya Shri Vaibhav Arekar. From invoking energies with traditional pieces to experiencing a wholesome flavour of carnatic soundscapes flourished with movement, this evening is a celebration of the form and all the stories it holds.

About the Artist:

Shruti Ranade is a passionate and thinking dancer who has

completed her graduation in Computer Science, and Masters in Bharatnatyam, Shruti has deep love for Art and

technology. Initially trained under Guru Smt. Aparna Dhupkar for 13 years, she went onto learn

from Guru Shri Vaibhav Arekar and has been working extensively with the Sankhya Dance Company for the last 7

years in the capacities of a Performer and has had the privilege of performing across Europe and India along with presenting solo performances for Jagruti Yatra under G20, Spicmacay and many more.

A Doordarshan Graded Artist and ‘V.D. Paluskar Awardee, Shruti has founded the VYOM Arts

Management Venture to support

performing artist in creating a sustainable working space. Shruti and Vyom are

currently working with some of the most promising talents across the country.
