A witty and powerful exploration of women’s invisible labour across India, Working Girls travels from city streets to rural fields to reveal quiet revolution and humour of those redefining what it means to work and to live with dignity. Created in collaboration with the Laws of Social Reproduction project, this bold new documentary from the feminist filmmaker Paromita Vohra, offers both urgency and joy in its portrayal of resistance, resilience, and everyday survival.
The screening will be followed by a conversation with Paromita Vohra and Hansa Thapliyal.

Instructions

3) No late entries will be allowed. Please plan to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the start time of the programme.

6) We request you to bring warm clothes, as it gets chilly inside the black box due to temperature control requirements for technical purposes.
7) Food, beverages, and water are strictly prohibited inside the black box. Please do not carry them in your bags either.
8) Students must present a valid college ID at the box office. If a student ID card cannot be presented, the Regular Pass price of INR 250 will apply. This category of pass is only valid for students aged 21 and below.
