An introductory workshop for women
The workshop was held from November 29 to December 05, 2018 at Worli Koliwada. It was facilitated by Luanda Fernandes, a journalist and a film researcher from Brazil who is associated with the Consulate General and Promotion Centre of Argentine Republic in Mumbai.
Women developed various films, ranging from documenting people, places and activities within Worli Koliwada to ‘5-shot’ films and short films about the story of an object.
The workshop focused on familiarizing the women with:
- the concept of film and filmmaking using personal, handheld, digital smart phones
- still photography, and storytelling , in context of self, community space, dialogues and narratives
