Manjeet Kripalani is co-founder and executive director of Gateway House: Indian Council on Global Relations. Previously, Kripalani was India Bureau chief of Business week magazine from 1996-2009. During her extensive career in journalism she won several awards, including the Gerald Loeb Award and George Polk Award.
Kripalani was 2006-07 Edward R. Murrow Press Fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations, deputy press secretary to Steve Forbes in his 1995-96 run for U.S. President, media advisor to Lok Sabha candidate Meera Sanyal in 2008 and 2014, Mumbai. Kripalani holds bachelors degrees in Law and in History from Bombay University and a master’s in International Affairs from Columbia University, New York.
