Work Experience: minimum 5 years

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as the Head of Programming at our Art and Culture Performance Space. The successful candidate will be responsible for curating a diverse and engaging program calendar, as well as leading and managing our programming teams to ensure the successful execution of our events. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the arts and culture sector, excellent organizational and leadership skills, and a passion for promoting diverse and innovative artistic performances. 

Main duties also include

  • Lead
    • Ensure you are familiar with and understand the organization’s goals, values, and mission, and work towards achieving them in a dedicated manner.
    • Take initiative and contribute proactively to ongoing projects with ideas, recommendations, and partnerships.
    • Initiate and conceptualize new projects and ideas, along with building new partnerships and relationships.
    • Hire, train, and mentor programming team members, fostering an inclusive and collaborative work environment
    • Develop and implement strategies to optimize team performance, including setting and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs).
    • Collaborate with other departments to ensure the organization’s financial sustainability and growth.
  • Liaise
    • Be the point of contact between various stakeholders for all projects.
    • Collaborate with artists, performers, and other stakeholders to develop and schedule events that align with the organization’s mission and vision.
    • Liaise between the G5A team, and ensure that there is a continuous line of communication maintained.
    • Continuously monitor industry trends, audience preferences, and performance feedback to ensure the program calendar remains relevant and up-to-date
    • Establish and maintain strong relationships with artists, performers, cultural organizations, and other stakeholders in the arts and culture sector.
    • Identify and pursue partnership opportunities to expand the organization’s reach, impact, and visibility.
    • Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
  • Manage
    • Develop and manage the programming department’s annual budget, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively and efficiently.
    • Research and identify local, regional, and international artists and cultural performers to showcase in the performance space
    • Oversee and manage the coordination and execution of events, ensuring that they run smoothly and meet established goals and objectives.
    • Monitor and analyze the financial performance of events, making recommendations for improvements as necessary.

experience in arts programming, or a related field, with a demonstrated track record of curating successful programs

This position reports to the Deputy Director

Associate Editor

Work Experience: 1 to 3 years

We are seeking an Associate, Editor for G5A with a minimum of 1 to 3 years of work experience. Must have outstanding writing, editing, and creative skills.

Main duties also include:

  • Lead
    • Ensure you are aware of and in sync with the organization’s goals, values, and mission.
    • As an integral part of the team, ensure you work towards achieving the organization’s goals.
    • Ensure you contribute effectively toward the team’s functioning by bringing into practice the organizational values. 
  • Liaise
    • Be the point of contact between various stakeholders for all projects.
    • Be the bridge between the internal team and consultants 
    • Reach out to similar organizations to build relationships and to increase database
    • Create and maintain relationships with media and press-related individuals and organizations
    • Processes 
    • Familiarize yourself with the existing processes in the organization.
    • Follow all the processes and implement them according to the organization’s values and vision.
  • Manage 
    • Approve content, appearance, and layout of featured articles from artists
    • Oversee photography, design, and artwork to be used in the publication 
    • Meet with writers and artists to discuss features, layouts, and artwork 
    • Comply with media law and the organizations standard 
    • Proofread, edit and rewrite articles to meet publication standards

This role must have a creative thinking with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills

This position reports to the Editor

Senior Lead Warehouse

Work Experience: 5 to 6 years

We are looking for a Senior Lead, Warehouse the successful candidate would need to plan and manage our programs and the calendar, monitor timeframes and budgets, network, and deliver on program brief objectives.

Main duties also include:

  • Lead

    • Ensure you contribute effectively towards the team’s functioning by bringing into practice the organizational values
    • Take initiative and contribute proactively to ongoing projects with ideas, recommendations, partnerships, and promotions.
  • Liaise
    • Be the point of contact between various stakeholders for all projects.
    • Liaise between the senior, leads, and the G5A team, and ensure that there is a continuous line of communication maintained and identify the setup, requirements, and expectations for each program
    • Create and maintain relationships with media and press-related individuals and organizations
    • Liaise with vendors, exhibitors, stakeholders, and the tech team during the program planning process and requirements between the artist POC  to ensure everything is in order
  • Processes 
    • Familiarize yourself with the existing processes in the organization.
    • Follow all the processes and implement them according to the organization’s values and vision.
    • Ensure the team conducts the warehouse walkthroughs and general warehouse hygiene and training the team when required 
    • Ensure all confirmation forms are submitted, maintain a program checklist, and note down the required information during recces 
    • Ensure warm hospitality to the audience and the visitors and maintain excellent relationships with them
    • Manage user experience to encourage them to visit more often and create opportunities to convert visitors into prospects for new business
    • Ensure the team coordinated with the vendors for outsourced equipment and coordinate with the security for entry and exit of equipment on show days.
    • Ensure the team manages the box office whenever required, keeps track of the guest list, and tracks sales during programs
    • Conduct final inspection on the day of the event to ensure everything adheres to the organization and client’s standards.
  • Pre Show
    • Licensing approvals for the programs before the program date
    • Ensure availability of equipment- Projector/ Sound system / Chairs and other furniture
    • Lighting arrangements are done as per the specifications requested for the event
    • Check that the following areas are in working condition
      • Electricity
      • Air-conditioning
      • Sound and Light systems
      • Fire equipment and security equipment
      • Medical kit and emergency services
      • Valet services tied up based on the need
  • Show Day
    • Coordination with respective teams
    • Dry Run: Pre-program run through the show flow of the program with the client
    • Ushering the audience/ visitors (Show around the Warehouse and provide necessary information to visitors)
    • Tracking Donor passes, guest list, BMS
  • Post Show
    • Maintain Excel sheet and CRM  records of footfalls
    • Return of Props received for programs (e.g. Stage Props, Musical instruments, Decoration material, Tables, mattresses, etc.)
    • Submission: Valet and external vendor and original copies of Licences to the Administration team
    • Account statement for the donor passes
    • Lost and found material to be handled
    • Debriefing the Team

Should be patient as you will act as a point of contact between our clients and staff.

Social/Digital Media & Performance Marketing Analyst

Work Experience: minimum 5 years

We are seeking a Social/Digital Media & Performance Marketing Analyst for G5A & Port. The person will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing the performance of our social & digital media content and campaigns, performing regular brand diagnostics, and providing data-driven insights and recommendations to improve our overall marketing/communications strategy.

Main duties also include:

  • Developing and implementing social media and digital diagnostics and strategies which align with the organization’s goals, values, and mission.
  • Proactively maintain dashboards across all social/digital brand assets and IPs with an inclination towards mining insights for campaign development and execution
  • Run paid media campaigns across social & digital media platforms and own up the ROI on the same across identified KPIs & KRAs
  • Be the point of contact between various stakeholders for all projects
  • Monitoring and analyzing the performance of social media and digital campaigns, including website traffic, social media engagement, conversion rates, and ROI for optimization
  • Providing insights and recommendations to improve the performance of campaigns, such as identifying opportunities for optimization and recommending changes to target audience, segmentation,, creative, and messaging
  • Creating and delivering regular reports to stakeholders to communicate brand health, campaign performance and key trends/insights from historical data
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in social media and digital analytics, and sharing insights and recommendations with the team
  • Identify opportunities for connecting data with creativity to create stellar multi-platform content and campaigns

Social/Digital Media Copywriter/Content Creators

Work Experience: 3 to 5 years

We are seeking two Social/Digital Media Copywriters/Content Creators for G5A. The person(s) will be responsible for producing high-quality, engaging content across various social & digital media platforms.
​​The candidates will be responsible for the conception, development, and execution of still & moving image high-end assets, as well as ad hoc content for social media and digital media,  that reflect the philosophy and quality of work generated at our organization.

The candidates should have pre-existing experience, with a portfolio of work to present at the application stage. The portfolio/showreel should show evidence of effective social and digital media content creation and campaign thinking and execution. They must be a team player with a can-do attitude. As a small business, it is imperative that every member of our team is self-motivated with an instinct for initiative.

Main duties also include:

  • Developing and implementing social and digital media content and strategies that align with the organization’s goals, values, and mission across our brands/platforms
  • Cover on-ground events at G5A & Port from a real-time social & digital media coverage perspective
  • Write, ideate, and post content across all platforms and ensure adherence to campaign ideation and execution standards
  • Develop creative ideas, and suggest new innovative ways of storytelling; by keeping up to date with the latest digital marketing trends
  • Be the point of contact between various stakeholders for all projects

Bartender

Work Experience: 2 to 3 years

We are looking for a professional Bartender with a minimum of 2 to 3 years of work experience. Should have excellent communication skills to serve classic cocktails and exciting new beverages. Must be able to upsell items, create recipes, utilize proper equipment and ingredients, and handle basic cleaning duties.

Main duties also include:

  • Lead

  • Processes
    • Mixing beverages using an extensive range of ingredients liquor, bitters, soda, water, sugar, and fruits. 
    • Taking beverage orders from customers and serving drinks as requested, paying extreme attention to details. 
    • Providing a positive and friendly guest experience by interacting with patrons
    • Checking identification to verify legal age requirements for all customers 
    • Keeping a well-stocked bar with an adequate supply of liquor, beer, wine, mixers, ice, napkins, straws, glassware, and other accessories.
    • Cleaning the bar, tables, chairs, and work area to maintain a sanitary environment 
    • Organizing the bar area to streamline drink preparation and inventory.
  • Manage
    • Coordinating with the procurement manager to place orders for liquor, beer, wine, and other supplies.
    • Slicing, pitting, and preparing fruit garnishes for drinks 
    • Planning bar menu and creating unique drinks.
    • Preparing and serving appetizers, snacks, or other food items for customers at the bar 
    • Complying with all food and beverage

Excellent knowledge of drink mixing and upsell items, create recipes, utilize proper equipment and ingredients
