Reine Mountford
Vivek Raj Singh and Reine Mountford are visual artists whose practice revolves around observational and journalistic stories such as the documentation of disabled artists in India and an ongoing long-term project about mass migration in Uttarakhand.
At their company Riverlight Pictures in Mumbai, they use the mediums of photography, video and writing in pursuit of telling stories both authentically and evocatively.
Their work has been seen in Life in a Day (documentary), Better Photography, Mumbai Mirror, Time Out Mumbai, Mid-day, Art & Deal Magazine and at Kala Ghoda Arts Fest amongst other platforms.
Reine has an LLM in Human Rights from Birbeck, University of London and Vivek is a BMM graduate from Jai Hind College, Mumbai University; with diplomas in photography and sound production from Udaan School of Photography and SRFTI respectively. They each also hold diplomas in filmmaking from NYFA.
