Shehrebanu Nooruddin

Shehrebanu graduated from the Dr. B.N. College of Architecture, Pune, where she was awarded a Bachelors in Architecture and Interior Design, First Class with Distinction. After working with Design Options in Karachi, she joined the Open Door Design Studio in 2018. Shehrebanu then founded the Open Door Design Workshop in 2020; with the intent to create a platform for research into alternate materials, specifically looking at reimagining waste to create building materials. 

Since its inception, the workshop has dabbled with experiments in waste wood, waste paper and waste plastic bottles; creating a series of small products and interventions. Along with architecture, research and the design of small objects, she enjoys writing about architecture and nature.
