Shiva Sankar

As a corporate professional and a part-time music composer, Shiva enjoys juggling between his left and right brain – trying to find ways to connect the two. On an active Sunday, he’ll most likely go sniffing around obscure South-Mumbai streets with his DSLR, capturing anything that catches his eye – shops, people, street lamps, garbage bins – while hitting up art galleries on the way. On a lazy Sunday, he stays put, has lots of chai (he’s a tea addict), reads, writes, reflects, refines his musical ideas, watches “Newsroom” on repeat, and structures his wild-running scattered ideas into something cohesive. Writing for Shiva, is more a by-product, a secondary consequence, of the experiences he gathers.
