Shivangi Shanker Koottalakkatt is a freelance writer and poet-in-bloom who spends her time learning about words and the world. When on a break from all things academic, she loves bringing life to paper through portraits as well. Shivangi holds a degree in English Language and Literature. Her work has been published in the peer-reviewed journal, Diotima’s. Her poem was also featured on LiveWire and The Alipore Post’s curatorial project. She’s very much intrigued by the extraordinariness in everyday things. Often, this finds space in her poems along with a drive to seek outlets for the political.
