Stefania started her mission as Consul General of Italy in Mumbai on the 13th of October 2017 and in this very short time, she truly seems to have made Bombay her home.

Ms. Costanza has been the Head of the Consular Protection Division in the Consular Affairs and Migration Policies Department of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation. She was the Deputy Head of the UN Division at the Political Affairs and Security Department of the Ministry. She has also served as Deputy Head of Mission at the Embassy of Italy in Kabul, Afghanistan. Stefania was also posted to the Embassy of Italy in Buenos Aires, Argentina, before which she worked at the Consular Affairs and Migratory Policies Department of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where she worked as Deputy Chief of Staff of the Head of the Department. Born in Palermo, Italy, Ms. Costanza studied at the University of Florence, where she graduated in Political Science and soon joined the Italian Diplomatic Service and started working at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
