G5A in collaboration with Yo-Yo Ma | The Bach Project presents A New Conversation 2019 – a 3-day artist residency culminating in music performances, with theatre, spoken word, food and more.

January 23, 7:00 PM:

Saag Meat: Award-winning theatre, film and TV actor, the wonderful Seema Pahwa (Aankhon Dekhi, Bareilly ki Barfi, Hum Log, Shubh Mangal Saavdhan), performs Bhisham Sahni’s *Saag Meat*. Set in a kitchen, Seema cooks saag meat as Sumitra, a middle-aged Punjabi woman, while reminiscing about her former house help Jagga’s funny-sad tale. Saag meat is served to the audience at the end of the play.
