Baithak, a traditional concert series, creates an intimate space which embraces the subtle, unspoken moments between artist, instrument, and audience.

Hailed as a musician’s musician, Pandit Ulhas Kashalkar was born into a musical family in Maharashtra. While ​his music remains deep rooted in tradition, the listeners revel in the experience of listening to a new gayaki. Ulhas ji is a recipient of several awards such as Sangeet Natak Academy award , Pt.Bhimsen Joshi Jeevan Gaurav Puraskaar by the Govt. of Maharashtra ,   Pt. Omkarnath Thakur award by Gujarat Sangeet Natak Academy, Rashtriya Tansen Puraskar by the Madhya Pradesh Govt ,and Padmashree from Govt of India.
