Chup! Breaking the Silence about Indian Women

Chup! Breaking the Silence about Indian Women

We are very excited to share with you the details of our event about the book : Chup – Breaking the Silence about India’s Women by Deepa Narayan. Dr. Deepa Narayan is an independent international poverty, gender and development advisor and writer with over 25 years of experience working at the World Bank, the UN, and NGOs.

On International Day of The Girl Child, 11th October 2018, join us on an exploration of her book on breaking the silence of Indian girls and women!

The conversation will be led by Meghna Pant , a multiple award-winning author, feminist, speaker, journalist and columnist, along with the author of Chup, Deepa Narayan. Together they will be taking us through eye-opening conversations around the 7 deeply ingrained habits(read about them in the book!) that girls internalize as they become women – despite their education, success, financial status and family background.
