Both journalists who have worked tirelessly for the cause of freedom, gender, the marginalized, and other violations, come together to discuss and share art that emerges spontaneously in conditions of Constraint, Censorship, and Protest. These are issues that gave birth to powerful, often collective, expression and this art must be recognized and recorded – offering us an entire parallel history of art that has been denied its place in mainstream discourse.
