Le Corps Déporté – The Deported Body | Film Screening
“Le corps Déporté” is a dance solo piece, or let’s say a duo, with a dancing body – Michel Casanovas – and the soundscape music by the amazing Swiss percussionist and composer, Pierre Favre. The piece narrates in movement and sound, the journey of Joseph Cruzet ( Michel’s Grandfather) in the concentration camp of Dachau (Germany) between 1944 and 1945. Even though, “LeCorps Déporté” is beyond a personal journey, it invites us all to reflect of a time where human dignity was denied in such a degree of “horror” to women, children, men – by human beings themselves!
Entry to film screening is free for the participants of Michel’s workshop, On Space and Presence – Feldenkrais Method and Creative Movement
