Red Bull Music Presents Madboy Band

Catch the incredibly talented, specially assembled band fronted by Imaad Shah, with Saba Azad on vocals, as they belt out slabs of their unique brand of soul, funk and space disco. The gig features a rare performance by special guest, the legendary, Asha Puthli delivering a singular performance, with some of her classic songs that have stood the test of time. The concert will also feature a dynamic band involving drums, bass, a horn section, percussions, guitars, synthesizers and additional vocals.

A long-time fan of Asha Puthli, Madboy/Mink cite her as one of their numerous influences on their latest EP Persons.Elastic.Superior.Fantastic (PESF). “The first time I heard Asha Puthli’s music I was just bowled over by the texture and beauty in her voice and delivery. The musicality and sonic character of those records is also really exciting. Also as I dug deeper into her more obscure albums, I realized the versatility that was at play here,” says Madboy, aka Imaad Shah.
