Exit-Mynah by Shashwat Bulusu | G5A Warehouse Performance Grant
Shashwat Bulusu’s live solo project is an amalgamation of music and monologues. The show is a 100-minute performance dealing with themes of lying, guilt and the absurdity surrounding them through a series of absurdist stories and songs supported by changing soundscapes & immersive lighting. The performance takes the audience through stories of imaginary ghosts and the reactions of a village to the death of a girl to drive the absurdity of human behaviour. This show was developed over an extensive tour across India in 2022 and the first full production showcase was executed at Kochi Biennale in January 2023. It is currently being developed further by Shashwat in London.The G5A Warehouse Performance Grant enables independent performance artists and practitioners to showcase their work at the G5A warehouse. Taking another step towards our belief in creating a culturally vibrant society that enables dignity for all, the performance grant was born out of our commitment to nurturing creativity, excellence, and resilience with a focus on non-mainstream cultural practitioners.Instructions
There is limited seating available.
Students must present a valid college ID at the box office. If a student ID card cannot be presented, the Regular Pass price of INR 499 will apply. This category of pass is only valid for students aged between 16 to 18.
Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis.
No Late Entries will be allowed. Please plan to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the start time of the program.
When attending a program at the G5A warehouse, attendees agree to be photographed/videographed/recorded for promotional use by organizers through both print and electronic media channels.

We request you to bring warm clothes as it gets chilly inside the black box as temperatures need to be controlled at optimum levels as per technical requirements.
Food, beverages and water are strictly prohibited inside the black box. Please do not carry them in your bags either.
