Dadaism or Dada was a form of artistic anarchy born out of disgust for the social, political and cultural values of the time. It embraced elements of art, music, poetry, theatre, dance and politics.

In this performance, two individuals, having no idea whatsoever of how to shape themselves, set off in search of inspiration. At the end of their quest, their portrait will inevitably have a false air of traversed paintings, invented dances. A journey that will prove to be completely self revealing. Here we invite on stage, two hip-hop dancers to narrate the context, the forbidden, the authority as well as movement, body, freedom of expression and creation, childhood. Being DADA irrevocably.

“ZOOM DADA” will be the reflection of certain childish dynamics in particular the transgression and the creation. This desire to go towards the unknown, to explore new horizons, to go beyond a predefined frame, to touch the prohibition, to excite its curiosity, these temptations of disobedience, this way to being eternally dissatisfied, this “why”, this “how”, this wild desire to understand (and sometimes to not admit) to try to build itself in a world with its very particular codes.
