Video art made by contemporary Indian artists has been attracting attention at international art forums and festival platforms, but is generally not accessible to people outside of the art fraternity. VAICA Festival offers an opportunity for exposure to this form creating a space for discussion around such works, with the aim to bring together artists, art students, media students, cultural critics and everyone interested in current cultural developments.
