An object is seen as immobile when observed from afar. Only when you go the distance and observe it up close, do you discover a tremendous amount of movement. Innumerable molecules, flowing freely within a limited space.
It is the paradoxical nature of a stationary object to encompass both the outburst and the restraint. An emotional outburst, bound within nature; the nature having enough space to contain the outburst while also preventing an overflow. This coexistence of different but complementary elements within the same space, shows us a natural example of parallel existence.
This body of work has been made through Monoprinting, a printmaking technique that involves the transfer of an image or images from one surface to another.
