Emmanuel Simon

Emmanuel Simon, who began his musical career as a Western classical pianist, is now a professional percussionist and versatile musician. Over the years, he has amassed a wealth of practical and academic knowledge in the fields of classical and contemporary Western music, as well as Latin, West African, and Indian classical music.

As a session musician and band leader of the Latin-jazz band “The Latination,” he has collaborated with many different artists for TV shows, studio recordings, or live performances and toured all over India and South Asia in many prestigious auditoriums and festivals. He is now an Assistant Professor at the School of Performing Arts at NMIMS University in Mumbai.
