A culture focused and community led Climate Summit

MCN is a community initiative, led by G5A, that responds to our growing concerns about the impact of climate change on our beloved city.

Join us at the G5A warehouse from April 17-21, 2024, where Mumbai’s creative thinkers come together to acknowledge this precarious moment –beckoning us to tackle the climate tests we are going to face in an urgent, wise, and sustained way.

Structure

The Summit is centered around a brand-new Immersive Installation, conceived and designed by Team G5A. Alongside the installation, the team has curated multi-disciplinary performances, conversations, workshops, and a fashion show.

Multi-disciplinary performances that are an act of love; An unrestrained, unapologetic emotional response to an unprecedented climate crisis. They remind us what’s at stake if we lose Mumbai –a push to reset our compasses and steer the city towards hope and resilience.

The summit will seed sustained future initiatives and conversations. The final day will see the launch of D Ward as a Pilot Study for Combating Climate Change by Assistant Commissioner, D Ward, Sharad Ughade and the Official Announcement of a Digital Dashboard that will be a one stop resource hub that sustains this conversation and keeps it alive, vibrant and inclusive.
