Qarib Qarib Singlle by Tanuja Chandra | Irrfan (1967 – 2020) : A Retrospective
A tale as old as time of two opposites being drawn to each other, Qarib Qarib Singlle takes on this central premise to introduce Irrfan into the world of romantic comedies. Parvathy plays a widow who tries to break out of her own image of being ‘good’ and meets Yogi, a PJ- cracking poet via a dating app, to embark on an unusual journey of meeting past lovers, self discovery and ultimately a happy ending.
Post-screening, Prathyush Parasuraman will be in conversation with Tanuja Chandra, Shailja Kejriwal, Sutapa Sikdar, Gazal Dhaliwal and Parvathy.
