Neeraj Jain
Neeraj is a filmmaker based out of New York. He grew up watching movies and learning hindustani classical music in Southern California. He started his foray into filmmaking through school projects and later spent a considerable time in India where he has worked on small documentaries that took him through the heart of Rajasthan to showcase fading arts. He also directed Maestro that shows the world of a quadriplegic orchestra conductor. He hopes that through his work he can capture people and places in a light that makes you, the audience, familiar with the unfamiliar. Neeraj recently worked on a documentary directed by National Award-winning director, Umesh V. Kulkarni and has just finished shooting his first feature film. He has also worked as a part of the lighting teams for shows and movies such as Master of None, Gypsy, Elementary, Tully, and Ocean’s 8. He studied film at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts (2015)
