The high compound walls along the Mahalaxmi Race Course on E Moses Road had become a site for haphazard bills, graffiti and general neglect. The sprawling racecourse beyond the wall was invisible to the public commuting daily along this stretch. By opening up the wall and replacing the stretch with grills, and creating a viewing deck cum library in its wake, we have created visual respite for passers by to stop, and take in the vast expanse of green running alongside this busy road.
